PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer Prep
Qualifying as an MSDT sets you apart from the rest
What is a Master Scuba Diver Trainer?
A PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) is an instructor with at least 5 specialty ratings under their belt. That means an MSDT can teach and certify student divers who want to take specialty courses.
During the Instructor Development Course (IDC) with Course Director Jon-Jon Suarez, at least 2 free Specialty Instructor courses are included (Enriched Air Nitrox and Emergency Oxygen Provider). To apply as an MSDT, you only need 2 more. We offer:
Deep Diver Specialty Instructor
Night Diver Specialty Instructor
Wreck Diver Specialty Instructor
Why become a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer?
As a new PADI diving instructor, you want to be ahead of the pack. Having the MSDT rating shows that you're serious about continuing your own diving education and experience, as well as your students'.
When you have the ability to teach 5 or more specialty courses, you also make yourself more valuable as an employee and have better income opportunities.
How does the PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer Prep Program tie in with our IDC?
Once you've completed the Instructor Development Course, you'll be ready to take the Instructor Examination (IE) and become a diving instructor. However, being a Master Scuba Diver Trainer will give you a huge advantage in the job market. To help you attain these ratings, we include 3 specialty instructor ratings for free during our IDC and conduct an MSDT Prep Program right after.
Course Director Jon-Jon will help you become a Specialty Instructor and eventually an MSDT by coaching you on the knowledge development, confined water, and open water standards of each specialty course. Armed with additional know-how and practical skills, you'll have more confidence as you start your instructor career.
If you have any questions regarding the requirements, schedules, and prices of the MSDT Prep Program, Specialty Instructor Courses, or the IDC, or you just want to know more about how we conduct our courses, please send us a message using the form below.
